Michael Arthur

Founder and Executive Director

Affiliations/Credentials: Outdoor Afro Leader, All Nations Oregon FC Head Coach, Village of Champions Head Soccer Coach, Starfinder Foundation Soccer Coach, Up2Us Sports Soccer Coach; BS Sociology, West Chester University, Behavior Health Specialist.

Brief Bio: Michael Arthur has been dedicated to youth health and wellness since high school, using soccer as a tool for empowerment and community building. He played a key role in pioneering the first-ever Village of Champions soccer program, designed to introduce the game to children in underserved areas. Since moving to Oregon, Michael has led the soccer program at All Nations Oregon FC, where his leadership, patience, and ability to connect with players have made him a favorite among participants. Michael’s innovative approach to using soccer as a tool for youth development among underserved communities is transforming the way we see the sport—not just as a game, but as a powerful vehicle for healing, education, environmental connection, and pathways to employment and higher education.

Saunsuray Govere

Financial Officer

Brief Bio: Saunsuray Govere has five years of experience in small business and nonprofit development, along with three years as a Financial Analyst at Vanguard. She successfully designed and co-led the development of a youth soccer program for Village of Champions, expanding access to sports and health education for underserved BIPOC communities. As an MBA Candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she is deepening her expertise in business management to strengthen nonprofit financial sustainability and accountability. At CBN, she focuses on measuring program effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and ensuring that funders' investments drive meaningful impact.

Warren Harding

Operations Officer

Brief Bio: Warren Harding is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery, with aspirations of pursuing a doctorate in psychology. He applies research to address disparities, develop data-driven solutions, and create inclusive programs for CBN that strengthen community connections and support youth empowerment.

Samantha Jeune

Community Relations Officer

Affiliations/Credentials: Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania; BA, Women’s and Gender Studies, West Chester University; Master of Social Work, Temple University, Social Worker, Therapist.

Brief Bio: Samantha Jeune is a licensed social worker, development professional, therapist, and writer based in the Philadelphia region. Passionate about equity, sustainability, and mental health advocacy, she applies her expertise to empower underserved communities, develop inclusive programs, and drive organizational growth. Her experience in social work and community development strengthens CBN’s efforts to foster health, wellness, leadership, and resilience for disadvantaged youth.
