Bio
Michael Arthur is a youth development leader who uses soccer as a platform to empower underserved communities. He helped pioneer the first Village of Champions soccer program, which introduced the sport to youth in underserved neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Since relocating to Oregon, Michael has co-led the soccer program at All Nations Oregon FC, where he focuses on mentorship, leadership development, and culturally responsive coaching. As Founder of the Congregation of Black Naturalists, he integrates sports, health and wellness education, and environmental learning to support the growth and confidence of refugee and BIPOC youth.

Bio
Saunsuray Govere is a financial and nonprofit development professional with experience in small business consulting, program development, and financial analysis. She previously worked as a Financial Analyst at Vanguard and helped to lead its community programs serving underserved populations. Saunsuray played a key role in designing and co-leading the development of the Village of Champions youth soccer program, expanding access to sports and health education for BIPOC communities. As an MBA candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she focuses on strengthening nonprofit financial sustainability, impact measurement, and responsible stewardship of grant funding.
